This card was my swap for my Team Training meeting earlier this month. I usually do mini cards for my swaps, but this month being a little more organised, I managed full cards :o) I also gave my Seaside Shore stamp set it's first inking! Thank goodness this is one of the ones carrying over to the new catalogue, because I will get to play with it some more ..... hopefully!
I hand cut the fish and anchor .... using the ⅛" hand held punch for the top of the anchor.
I also went over the fish with the Clear Wink of Stella pen. This gives such a wonderful glisten, but sadly doesn't photograph well :o)
I have a lovely bright card to share with you today! :o) I spritzed my White mat lightly with water and then used one of the Celebrations Duo embossing folders on the centre of it. I then chose one of the images from the Work of Art stamp set to stamp over the top of the debossed word.
I thought that a neutral colour would be best for the sentiment and backing mat, so chose Basic Grey ...... I think it looks gorgeous! :o)
Daisy Delight is one of the new stamp sets coming in June in the new Annual Catalogue. As a Demonstrator, I get the opportunity to pre-order items during May.
I love this stamp set! The large Daisy is gorgeous and of course, there's a matching Punch for it :o)
I stamped the Daisy onto Powder Pink card stock using Versamark and heat embossed using White powder. I created three layers and stacked them on top of each other.
The centre of the flower was stamped onto Berry Burst card stock and again, heat embossed using White Powder. I cut this out by hand because I couldn't find my ½" Circle punch .... which fits perfectly :o)
The background layer is White Glossy card stock!!! This is coming back into the catalogue!
I stamped the Daisy randomly all over it using Versamark and heat embossed with White Powder. I then used a sponge and gently coloured the card all over with Powder Pink ink. I added a little Berry Burst ink into the centre of the flowers.
The paper is another new product - the Fresh Florals DSP stack!
This card was designed to use as the Make & Take for a Party I did last week. I wanted to focus on the Eastern Palace products that are on Promotion for this month. I concentrated on the Eastern Beauty stamp set .... which is really lovely! I did use the Big Shot to cut out the largest circle layer - using one of the Layering Circle framelits. All the other circles were punched out.
